Sonya Brown is a dedicated Technician and Vision Therapist who finds fulfillment in helping people improve their quality of life through their visual system. She is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a practice that prioritizes both eye health and the person behind the eyes.
She appreciates the rural, close-knit atmosphere of the community and loves that the practice offers a range of specialties. Sonya believes in treating patients as individuals, not just as cases, making every interaction meaningful.
Community involvement is also important to Sonya. Along with her husband and mother, she participates in a monthly church service at the Haven nursing home, sharing special music and spiritual support. At home, she and her husband have raised three adult sons who now live in Alberta, Canada—and though she jokes about it, she considers their chickens part of the family too!
While her busy schedule keeps her from enjoying hobbies as much as she used to, Sonya has a history of avid tennis playing and horseback riding. These days, she’s working on mastering pickleball and is still pursuing new belts in Tae Kwon Do.
