Athletes need good vision to be able to succeed in their sport. They also need to have healthy eyes to ensure victory.
For this reason, we are proud to offer sports vision therapy. There are times when an athlete’s vision can be improved without wearing glasses. We use therapy to strengthen areas your eyes that may have become weakened. We also use therapy to improve your reaction and timing so that your eyes will be stronger than most people’s.
Sports vision training involves high-level eye tracking, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination. Many athletes practice these exercises to keep their eyes in peak condition.
Since there are many different exercises and everyone has different needs, we have to perform some testing first. We need to determine how your eyes will function beyond the realm of normal activity before we customize a program to strengthen your vision based on your level of activity.
